Description Immediate IT opening.

Responsibilities: • Provide technical assistance addressing issues related to their personal computers, including troubleshooting error codes and installing software • Offer support for a variety of systems, including Mac OS and Microsoft Windows 10 • Assist in managing the ticketing system and implementing new service systems • Handle walk-in center duties, assisting users with their personal computers and university-provided laptops, tablets, and phones • Ensure seamless connectivity of devices to the Wi-Fi network • Provide limited remote support using TeamViewer when necessary • Engage in hands-on roles, working alongside student workers or independently as required • Contribute to the transition towards Windows 10 and manage some remaining Windows 7 systems • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of various versions of Mac OS, from the oldest to the latest versions.

Requirements • 1+ years of experience in a Technical Support roles • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues on Mac OS and Microsoft Windows 10 platforms • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address user issues and concerns • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical issues in a non-technical language • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively • Familiarity with IT standards and best practices • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
