We are looking for a Junior Communications Specialist / Copywriter to support our internal communications and training development initiatives. This role is crucial for managing email correspondence, assisting in drafting and refining internal communications, and supporting the creation of training materials. The ideal candidate is an emerging professional eager to develop their skills in a dynamic, fully remote work environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects while honing your communication and writing skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and editing internal communications to ensure clarity, engagement, and alignment with our messaging standards.
• Manage and streamline email correspondence to reduce workload on senior team members.
• Support the development of training content, including collaborating on storyboards and scripts.
• Work closely with the senior communication specialist and project teams to gather information, draft messages, and refine content based on feedback.
• Engage in daily collaboration with team members to support each other and ensure consistent communication practices.

Requirements:

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to our organization's tone and style quickly.
• A foundational understanding of communication principles and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting and maintain productivity with flexible hours.
• Proactive and eager to take on responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma required; a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Adobe Captivate) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Comfortable working in a team environment and capable of pivoting between tasks as needed.
• Familiarity with project management and coordination tools.
• An outgoing, collaborative personality, ready to learn and contribute to a team known for its cooperative and supportive culture.
• 2+ years' experience with internal communications and copywriting
