The Opportunity SunStream Business Services, a leading managed IT service provider that supports Farm Credit lending institutions, is seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead our Financial Technology (Fintech) offerings. This is a unique opportunity for a transformative leader who excels in ambiguity and is skilled at driving technological and process-oriented improvements, with a strong focus on customer success. As we embark on our digital transformation journey, your role will be instrumental in enhancing our current customer base and paving the way for expansion across the Farm Credit System and beyond. What You'll Be Doing Collaboration and Strategic Influence: Collaborate with executives and stakeholders to align product strategy with the company's goals. Influence product direction and strategy at the highest levels. Operational and Process Excellence: Implement a process-oriented and technically proficient approach to lead operations. Utilize agile methodologies to enhance product development processes and team effectiveness. Strategic Product Leadership: Develop and guide the strategic product roadmaps for all fintech offerings, harmonizing the visions of our strategic partners and the needs of our clients to create a comprehensive operating plan for our teams to execute. Customer Success Advocacy: Champion a customer-first approach, leading initiatives to elevate customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. Formulate and execute a customer success strategy that ensures our products and services exceed expectations. Product Ownership: Act as a visionary product owner, driving change and operational effectiveness within loan servicing or loan accounting enterprise systems. Team Management and Mentorship: Oversee a dynamic team of product owners, customer success professionals, and fintech support staff, encompassing full-time employees and contractors. Promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning. Innovation and Curiosity: Foster an environment encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and innovative thinking to solve complex problems and drive product advancements. What You'll Bring to the Table Demonstrated experience as a product owner in loan servicing or loan accounting enterprise systems, ideally with Fiserv or Infor experience. Exceptional leadership skills, capable of leading direct teams and cross-functional groups. Strongly customer-oriented, with a proven track record of driving customer success and leading customer success teams. Operationally proficient, with extensive experience in leading teams through practical, systematic approaches. Expert in agile methodologies, leveraging these practices to drive product development and team efficiency. Grit and Resilience: Proven ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous, challenging environments, demonstrating perseverance and a strong commitment to achieving goals. Curiosity: A natural inclination to explore, learn, and innovate, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team Willing to travel 20% of the time to customer sites and industry events.
