Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Saint Paul, Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the general ledger, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timeliness of the accounting process. This role also involves managing accounts payable/receivable, assisting with tax audits and tax returns preparation, and maintaining adherence to financial regulations and legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all facets of the general ledger and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the accounting process

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transaction details

• Update and maintain the general ledger, reconciliation of entries into the accounting system

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process

• Verify and balance receipts and manage accounts payable/receivable

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Management and calculation of monthly payroll

• Assist with tax audits and tax returns preparation

• Assist with budget preparations and financial planning processes

• Maintain adherence to financial regulations and legislation Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping

• Data Entry skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to perform Month End Close tasks

• Payroll processing skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
