Description

We are seeking an Accountant to become part of our client's manufacturing team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and auditing accounts, processing payroll data, and ensuring all accounting functions are carried out efficiently. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Assist with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to streamline and integrate business processes.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), to ensure financial transactions are executed and documented in accordance with company policies.

• Conduct auditing processes to verify the accuracy of balance sheets and journal entries.

• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported and reconciled.

• Perform account reconciliation to prevent discrepancies in financial reports.

• Participate in bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions.

• Handle balance sheet reconciliation to ensure all data aligns and there are no discrepancies.

• Complete balance sheet account reconciliation, verifying the accuracy of all data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the accounting field within a manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge in Auditing

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
