Environmental Conditions

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degrees, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

As the Working Site Supervisor and Document Reviewer, you will have a range of responsibilities and requirements. Here's what you can expect:

Responsibilities:

Supervisory Duties

  • Lead cross-functional teams of on-site service specialists, ensuring full delivery of contractual scope of work

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific, identifying process issues and recommending solutions

  • Write and administer standard operating procedures to support the region and customer's goals and objectives

  • Develop key performance indicators, monitor trends, and provide reports on business metrics.

  • Conduct site audits, ensure completion of required PMs, calibrations, and instrument moves

  • Set up and present at customer business review meetings, actively seeking expansion of services

  • Support continual process improvement and mentor site-based personnel

  • Evaluate employee training needs and arrange for necessary training and development

  • Analyze and reconcile different customer and company reports to meet the needs of all parties involved

  • Promote personal growth and development by staying up-to-date with new policies and enhancements

  • Listen to customer concerns, diffuse dissatisfaction, and identify course of action

  • Effectively lead a diverse cross-functional team

  • Evaluate instruments serviced in house in comparison to other sites and facilitate training to expand the scope if necessary

Site Based Duties

  • Work order Dispatch & Queue management

  • Parts ordering and inventory

  • PM scheduling for onsite work

  • Compliance and documentation review

  • Monitor WO progress/completion

  • Generate monthly PM work orders

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Science, Inventory Management, Material Planning, Operations, or related field OR 3 years of job-related experience

  • Experience in a laboratory setting or services preferred

  • Proven customer service skills and ability to promote a team environment

  • Proficiency in computer/software skills (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
