Adecco US, Inc. Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Saint Louis, Missouri

Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our client’s team in St. Louis, MO . In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading bid events (RFPs & RFIs) in the capital category of construction services. You will play a key part in identifying and developing strategies to create value and deliver speed to market through a prequalified and negotiated supply base. This role offers competitive compensation ( $25.00-$30.00/hour ) over a 6 month contract period.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, technical/manufacturing, with a focus on eSourcing processes, negotiations, construction, category strategy, and supply agreement development.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Experience with SAP, Ariba (eSourcing), and Power BI is a plus.

  • Understanding of multiple factory operations and database management is a plus.

  • Contract negotiation experience is a plus.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and execute RFPs and RFIs related to local project needs in Land, Buildings, Services, and Equipment sourcing.

  • Conduct comprehensive pre-qualification of contractors in alignment with the Vendor Qualification Process (S&IM).

  • Manage the bidding process, summarize bids, and participate in award scenarios.

  • Partner with factories, colleagues, and Engineering stakeholders, including Legal, to understand upcoming project requirements.

  • Leverage market intelligence to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with all Procurement policies and procedures, and promote best practices across the organization.

  • Apply project management principles to drive cross-functional teams in the efficient delivery of business objectives.

  • Document and track cost savings using OSCAR and other tools.

  • Support key Procurement KPIs related to ensuring supply and identifying alternative suppliers.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
