Description We are in search of a diligent Payroll Clerk to join our retail team based in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The role involves handling payroll processing, managing Multi-Employer Trust Fund contributions, and handling union-related tasks. This role also requires effective communication with various internal teams and third-party organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and settle payroll, ensuring timely remittance of payroll taxes and other deductions

• Maintain accurate payroll records for reference and auditing purposes

• Calculate and remit monthly Multi-Employer Trust Fund contributions and prepare related reports

• Respond to audit requests and coordinate necessary follow-up actions

• Process garnishments in compliance with legal and company standards

• Promptly and professionally respond to payroll and contribution inquiries from store managers, teammates, unions, and labor relations

• Manage union membership tasks, including enrollments, dues deductions, remittances, and reporting

• Serve as a backup for biweekly payroll processing, ensuring compliance and timely remittance of taxes and deductions

• Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies as needed

• Use accounting software systems and tools such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and About Time effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is desired.

• Knowledge of Ceridian is beneficial.

• Proficiency in using Dayforce is required.

• Experience with About Time software is advantageous.

• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) functions is desired.

• Auditing skills are essential.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is crucial.
