Payroll Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Quality control of payroll records from JET/PTS – Run interface, review data, work with business partners and supervisor with said data on regularly scheduled events, special projects and terminations. Perform audits and reconciliations.

  • JET/PTS Development Partner – Partner with IT/System Smith on all changes that require Oracle payroll testing.

  • Oracle Development Partner – Partner with EBS team on changes and upgrades to the Oracle functionally to include OTL, ESS, MSS and Payroll modules.

  • Benefit Billing – Track benefit rate changes to ensure the integrity of billing and cost allocations.

  • Payroll Distribution – Maintain access database for cost withholding taxes, payroll distribution reports to Controllers and HRBP’s.

  • Business Partner Relations – Work with Finance, Operations, HR and Payroll on daily operations, special projects and future development and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in human capital systems, advanced access database and Excel skills required

  • Microsoft Access-based database solutions

  • VBA programming, Excel automation, SQL Server and Oracle pass-through queries

  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS, KBX, OBIEE, TOAD for Oracle, Oracle SQL, PTS/JET

P osition Summary

The Payroll Systems Analyst will assist in system upgrades, patches and customizations as needed in all applications. Manage system issues log and work with payroll management to resolve. Monitor and administer compliance to all imports from third-party systems (Oracle JET/PTS). Support as needed extractions to Finance Department.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Quality control of payroll records from JET/PTS – Run interface, review data, work with business partners and supervisor with said data on regular scheduled events, special projects and terminations. Perform audits and reconciliations. Participate in annual PwC control sampling.

  • JET/PTS Development Partner – Partner with IT/System Smith on all changes that require Oracle payroll testing.

  • Oracle Development Partner – Partner with EBS team on changes and upgrades to the Oracle functionally to include OTL, ESS, MSS and Payroll modules. Partner with EBS and business partners to assess new development and opportunities.

  • Benefit Billing – Create benefit billing reports using Oracle OBIEE (business intelligence reporting) and KBX. Will use Access database to facilitate spreadsheet reporting. Track benefit rate changes to ensure integrity of billing and cost allocations.

  • Payroll Distribution – Maintain access database for cost withholding taxes, payroll distribution reports to Controllers and HRBP’s. Maintain libraries and user permissions in SharePoint, for div/dept changes and or reorganizations. Develop and research for opportunities.

  • Business Partner Relations – Work with Finance, Operations, HR and Payroll on daily operations, special projects and future development and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
