Robert Half Paralegal in Saint Louis, Missouri

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be instrumental in managing contract information, ensuring compliance, and assisting in contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

• Collate and assimilate managed care contract data to support contract implementation and management.

• Ensure completeness and compliance of submitted documents.

• Update and manage contract data in the contract database as required.

• Review and document requirements for implementation of new and renewal contracts.

• Ensure accurate capture and entry of contract summary data elements into the contract management system.

• Maintain department reports and spreadsheets in an organized manner to facilitate reporting capabilities.

• Communicate contract obligations or compliance requirements to the team and manager.

• Assist in translating legal-speak and contract terminology into simple terms to understand operational implications.

• Participate in the preparation of contracts management Request for Proposal (RFP).

• Assist the negotiation team in hashing out RFP program and participate in negotiations on the managed care. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies or a related field

• Proven experience as a Paralegal in the Healthcare/NHS industry is preferred

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Commercial Contracts

• Excellent research and report-writing skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards of the legal profession.
