Wells Fargo Media Relations Lead, Wealth & Investment Management in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri
About this role:
This position will execute media relations as part of the larger Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) media program. The successful applicant will partner with WIM Communications colleagues and work closely with WIM executives to translate business strategies into media pitches that informs and engages reporters. This position can office in Charlotte, NC ; Minneapolis, MN ; or St. Louis, MO and does not offer relocation assistance. The Wells Fargo job profile is Lead Communications Consultant .
In this role, you will:
Develop and implement external communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities
Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that can be leveraged through the media and Wells Fargo-owned social media channels to promote executive(s) and key initiatives
Identify external speaking and/or social media opportunities
Write press releases, media pitches, key messages, media statements, and social media submissions
Pitch and respond to reporters from key national print, newswire, radio and broadcast media outlets
Serve as a spokesperson for media inquiries or prepare suitable subject matter experts to respond
Track and measure results to ensure they are in line with intended outcomes and business objectives
Partner with other communicators to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience developing external communications strategies and plans that drive business priorities
Experience securing broadcast and print media opportunities with national and trade media outlets
Experience prepping executives for media interviews or speaking engagements
Experience building strong relationships with national business and trade news media
Experience writing stories across various social, internal, and digital channels
Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for creative storytelling

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
