Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Marketing Project Manager Specialist for a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with a Fortune 200 client in St. Louis, MO. Experience with developing, owning, and communicating holistic project timelines to internal and external teams regularly.

Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project & Process Management:

o Develops, owns, and communicates holistic project timelines to internal & external teams regularly. This includes:

o Creation & management of all project timelines

o Organize & set up kickoffs, collaborations & presentations

o Lead both internal & brand status meetings

o Lead daily standup meetings (Kanban)

o Manage and recommend process optimizations using Agile principles

o Share and celebrate projects, leading retrospective sessions & suggesting ways to instill learnings within the department and across disciplines

o Act as a cross-functional hub for all project executions, partnering closely with internal & external partners to ensure overall project success

o Proficient in managing high volume, quick turn projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders

o Understand multiple aspects of production from print, digital, experiential, and content (this is a big one)

o Manages production phase of most projects, once key creative and copy has been approved

o Ability to consider the full scope of projects, beyond simply managing timelines… but considering how the pieces work together.

o Ability to think strategically about communications and the implications of choices being made, so as to participate and add to a conversation regarding the consumer journey/experience

o Takes ownership of project efficiency; Understands project processes and how to flex it.

o Understands multiple aspects of production from print, digital, experiential & content. Including format, sizes, and overall ensuring the proper asset.

o Knowledge of and proficiency with Content Hub and/or VR Financial:

o Open jobs utilizing agency software tools

o Work with account leads to accurately scope project jobs

o Issue POs to external vendors Agency/Client Service:

o Demonstrates working knowledge of internal & external partner processes

o Management of all production-related requests from the internal team, clients, or meta-agency partners

o Gather and vet specs to ensure project accuracy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree preferred

o 3+ years of experience in a Marketing/Advertising agency project management role

o Demonstrated ability of past contributions to client businesses in an agency service environment

Additional Skills:

o Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

o Experience with Project Management and Agile tools

o Excellent leadership, communication, organization, & time management skills

o Good oral and written communication skills

o Strong interpersonal skills.

o Thoroughness and attention to detail.

o Exhibits a helpful, proactive attitude.
