Naval Education and Training Command HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) in Saint Louis, Missouri
Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (Military) in the Navy Recruiting District of NRD ST LOUIS. Responsibilities You will interview personnel to obtain additional information as needed to correct discrepancies. You will identify required enlistment waivers, prepare waiver briefing sheet and assemble needed documentation. You will enter and retrieve data from various information sources. You will review forms, documents, and other related information from enlisted applicants and construct initial enlisted service records. You will serve as the initial reviewer of eligibility for naval service utilizing applicable directives and regulations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting military regulations regarding military processing and enlisted recruiting; 2) Preparing reports or briefs to submit to management on enlisted programs; 3) Providing guidance to personnel regarding enlisted programs. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successfully completed four years of education above high school level OR Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
