Cooke Aquaculture IT Security Business Analyst in Saint John, New Brunswick

Cooke Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Business Analyst to join our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to enhance our security posture and ensure the protection of our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents, project status reports, and security initiatives updates.

  • Assist with implementing security measures by coordinating projects and ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

  • Analyze security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings and remediation steps.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in IT security and business analysis.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.

  • Experience with security tools and technologies.
