JOB REQUIREMENTS: Kingchem Laboratories, Inc. in St. Francis, Wisconsin seeks a Chemical Engineer to: Design chemical manufacturing equipment commissioning and validation efforts, protocol development and/or review, protocol execution, and final report development. Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions to support existing and new chemical manufacturing equipment and system installations. Direct daily chemical manufacturing plant construction activities and provide hot work permit and day-to-day technical chemical engineering support. Develop safety procedures by providing management of change support for both documents and equipment to safeguard workers from potential harm during technical chemical manufacturing equipment upgrades, changes in operating or inspection procedures, and other transitions. Support environmental remediation equipment and systems to limit chemical contamination, including design, budgeting, procurement, management of change, PHA, scheduling, construction management, commissioning/validation, equipment file, and turnover package. Evaluate existing chemical manufacturing equipment and systems to generate as-built piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), loop/electrical schematics, tag equipment and instruments. Update equipment files on existing equipment, as-built P&ID\'s and loop/electrical schematics, installation and maintenance manuals, and major purchase orders. Assess major chemical manufacturing equipment and systems. Monitor chemical manufacturing instrumentation. Requirements: Master\'s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field plus 1 year of experience providing engineering support in a manufacturing setting, including optimizing manufacturing processes, collaborating with Research & Development, and ensuring compliance with chemical safety and environmental regulations.
