Description We are in the process of recruiting a Credit Analyst for our operations in SAINT CHARLES, Missouri. The role is centered on analyzing financial data and credit information of individuals or firms to determine the risk level associated with extending credit. This is a contract employment opportunity that requires skills in various areas including 3M, CRM, Data Processing, IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Collection Processes, Credit, Credit Application, Credit Limit, and Credit Reports.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit data and financial statements for individuals or businesses to evaluate the risk level associated with providing credit.

• Utilize computer software to assess customers' financial status, generate financial ratios, and determine creditworthiness.

• Review credit applications meticulously, gather required information, and draft detailed reports outlining the risk factors involved in the credit request.

• Make informed recommendations on credit requests by either approving or denying them based on the risk assessment results.

• Establish repayment terms for customers by considering factors such as earnings, payment history, and purchase activity.

• Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently while verifying transactions through consultation. Requirements • Demonstrable knowledge of 3M and CRM systems

• Proficiency in data processing

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software

• Understanding of collection processes

• Extensive knowledge in credit, credit application, and credit limit

• Ability to analyze and interpret credit reports

• Experience in approving credit

• Strong decision-making skills related to credit approval

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
