Weekend Shift - 5am-5pm

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced machine operator or entry level CNC machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a horizontal machine to machine large pieces of steel to precise specifications.

A CNC operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Program prove outs, maintaining equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards and keeping detailed part records are some of the core responsibilities of a CNC operator.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate horizontal machine to machine large pieces of steel

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements

• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation and quality of finished products

• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed

• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy

• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
