GREENLEAF CORPORATION Machine Operator B in Saegertown, Pennsylvania

*Summary: * A Machine Operator B sets up, adjusts and operates a variety of machines for the purpose of producing machined tools. Usually specializing on a specific machine tool type;however, the scope of operations requires the operation of several types of machines; including, Bridgeport style manual mills, grinders, CNC lathes, CNC mills and EDM.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to read and interpret routers, blueprints, planning sheets, sketches and related technical data to determine production tooling requirements.
  • Troubleshooting existing programs and making changes when applicable. 
  • Tools used for the job include scales, calipers, micrometers, indicators, sine-plates, planar and depth mics to check work pieces.
  • Must pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts of basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry. 
  • Operate machinery in accordance with manufacturing, production and quality standards.
  • Must comply with all safety, quality, work rules and regulations.

Hours: 40 - M-F; Day, Evening, Night shifts
