Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The role entails working in the telecom provider industry, focusing on maintaining and improving financial procedures and systems within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Regularly update and maintain the general ledger

• Prepare and record journal entries as per the financial schedule

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and report generation

• Carry out month end close processes in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting operations

• Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections

• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations, standards, and best practices

• Stay informed about tax laws and compliance requirements

• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Proficient in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite software

• Proficiency in Oracle software

• Experience with SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• CPA or relevant certification would be an advantage.
