Welder & Fabricator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welder & Fabricator to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing the chassis for truck body installation, installing the body and bumpers onto the chassis, and ensuring all wiring and electrical units are correctly installed in the chassis. You will also be responsible for the installation of aftermarket product accessories and verifying specifications by measuring the completed component. To keep our equipment operational, you will need to complete preventive maintenance requirements, follow manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Your role is crucial in our team effort and we expect you to contribute by accomplishing related results as needed. We place a high priority on safety and expect you to do the same.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in McClellan Park, California.

Work Environment

This job requires working in an inside shop environment. You will frequently use your hands and operate drill motors, impacts, overhead cranes, and forklift machines. You should be comfortable with standing for long periods, constant kneeling and squatting, and constantly lifting and carrying heavy objects. You will also be exposed to various environmental conditions.
