Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Sacramento, California. This role is in the industry and involves managing a portfolio of accounts. The workplace is a dynamic environment where you'll be tasked with handling various accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the general ledger details by accurately categorizing transactions, setting up tables of accounts, and allocating entries to the correct accounts.

• Accurately managing payroll entries and adhering to predetermined payroll timelines.

• Utilizing Excel's advanced features to perform intricate calculations, data analysis, and to generate comprehensive reports.

• Employing Sage Intacct software to carry out accounting activities.

• Ensuring client reports are delivered in a timely manner.

• Collaborating with the team to meet overall financial objectives.

• Regularly reconciling accounts to confirm their accuracy.

• Utilizing accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline accounting functions.

• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensuring balance sheet account accuracy.

• Performing auditing tasks as necessary.

• Utilizing Excel Formulas, Charts - Graphs, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Table to effectively manage and present data. Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

• Proven experience as a senior accountant in a dynamic organization.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel.

• Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct.

• Profound knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Superior organizational skills.
