SUMMARY
This position consists of maintaining the shop and yard, building and repairing field equipment, loading trucks and maintaining a well-stocked warehouse.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain shop and yard on a daily basis.
Maintain Inventory and stock of filters and parts.
Service and Wash Generators as needed.
Maintain oil tanks (fresh and waste) along with updating log.
Maintain storm drain, rain gutters and overall cleanliness of yard.
Assist mechanics and field technicians as needed.
Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment.
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanically inclined with ability to build and repair electrical equipment.
Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 80 lbs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player.
Forklift certification a plus (written & driving test).

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00
