An HR Manager's role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources practices, policies, and processes in an organization. Main duties and responsibilities may include:

• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.

• Handling staffing issues, such as mediating disputes, directing disciplinary procedures, and termination procedures.

• Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

• Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

• Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.

• Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.

• Overseeing and approving administration of human resources programs including benefits, compensation, education, training, and safety.

• Conducting job evaluations and directing recruitment efforts.

• Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

• Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics.

  Requirements

An HR Manager should have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making abilities, and profound knowledge of HR management systems and databases. A degree in human resources or a related field, and experience in a HR manager role is often required.
