PCG’s Education Strategies team works directly with senior education leaders in the K-12 sector to solve challenging problems, develop long-term strategy, guide change management and support implementation. Project work includes providing strategic direction and technical assistance in support of effective educational systems. Consultants will play multiple roles, ranging from thought partner, to project manager, to project support, to logistical support.

Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in organizational analysis consulting projects for school districts and state education agencies.
Independently creates work plans and stakeholder engagement plans for projects.
Independently manages complex projects and tasks with limited supervision.
Manages project workstreams, and creation of client deliverables.
Identifies and elicits requirements from key stakeholders in each engagement.
Participates in client discussions with executive level client leadership.
Participates in on-site client data collection activities, such as focus groups and interviews.
Conducts research to support client recommendations.
Performs data analysis and generates visualizations of quantitative data.
Support project management through planning and monitoring of ongoing project tasks using digital tools.
Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Assesses best practices and provide technical assistance to clients.
Supports proposal writing teams, including writing sections, coordinating efforts, and preparing proposal submissions.
Prepares other written reports and materials for clients.
Manages daily project functions and client interaction.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred (MBA, MPP, Ed.M. or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience working in the education or education policy field strongly preferred

Working Conditions
- Remote office, with national travel to client sites and corporate offices for in-person collaboration, depending on needs.

As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $80,000-$100,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below.
