Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing company that is seeking add an Accounts Payable Manager to join the team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the accounts payable function in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate payment processes, adherence to company requirements, and resolution of unpaid invoice issues. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company's accounts payable function and ensure efficient and accurate payment and invoicing processes.

• Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company requirements.

• Approve accounts payable transactions while ensuring accuracy in terms of coding and cost allocation.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve queries and issues related to unpaid invoices promptly.

• Review and verify invoices and check requests and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Manage the preparation and distribution of payments in a timely manner.

• Maintain vendor files and update the list of suppliers regularly.

• Collaborate with various departments and professionals to gather and share information as required.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including the preparation of audit schedules and commitment lists.

• Continually review procedures and identify improvement opportunities to drive efficiency within the team.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficient in Account Coding, Accounts Payable (AP), Auditing

• Proven track record of supervising and managing a team

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
