Description

We are seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage all our financial transactions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, invoicing, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' and payables' data.

• Reconcile and balance all accounts, maintaining historical records and filing documents.

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports and assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing.

• Manage payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit related taxation forms.

• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines, state and federal regulations.

  Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper in a non-profit setting is an advantage.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is a plus.

A successful Bookkeeper for our non-profit organization will have a good understanding of non-profit financial regulations, exhibit strong analytical skills and possess a deep sense of integrity.
