The Co-General Manager is responsible for working with and supporting the General Manager at an assigned location. The Co- GM is scheduled opposite of the GM and leads the restaurant and team in their absence. He/ she oversees all systems that contribute to running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical guest service standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a big job! The General Manager works with his/her market leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
To Co-Manager assists the GM with leading the management team to set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their direct teams. The Co-GM is responsible for the people systems within the team; scheduling, training, hiring. The General Manager will work with the Co-Manager to ensure the restaurant is staffed to meet business needs.
