The Opportunity
The Strategic Partnership Manager ANZPAC is responsible for developing, contracting, and managing profitable, long term supply relationships with major hotels, venues and other partners across Encore’s existing markets while concurrently responsible for growing Encore’s footprint in existing, proximity and new markets across the region.
This role will mitigate individual hotel losses due to competitors, national agreements or self-operated models , thus protecting our existing partnerships while continuing to grow the ANZPAC market with a strong focus on Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
Responsibilities
Develop, lead and manage the strategic focus and commercial results of venue partnerships
Identify, research and action profitable contracting opportunities for new accounts across Encore existing markets and new potentials over the next 3 to 5 years
Support APAC to align venues within Regional and Global MSA
Work with local wider team to develop new, and expand current partner relationships in each region
Take the lead in expanding our venue portfolio of venues and contracting new accounts
Manage business proposals, RFS and tender process to point of sign off
Assist in positioning Encore as a leading provider of worldwide event services
Attend most relevant trade shows, forums and industry events to promote Encore’s global reputation and build awareness of the Encore brand within the market
Develop and manage client retention and contract renewal in collaboration with Strategic Partnerships Manager – Tenders and renewals
Explore all opportunities to move non-contracted relationships to an exclusive or preferred supplier arrangements
What We Are Looking For
An experienced Business Development Leader who can use their existing relationships across their network to foster and build new connections
Proven experience in leading, negotiating and closing Multi-year, Multi million commercially valued agreements
Proven experience in managing the integrity of offers, bid documents and tenders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client and team needs
Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
