Description We are seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to join our consultancy team located in Rutherford, New Jersey. The Sr. Tax Accountant will oversee and manage a variety of tax-related activities, including compliance audits and annual tax provisions. Leveraging skills in CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, SAP S/4HANA, and corporate income tax, this role will ensure the accurate and timely processing of tax-related functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and conduct compliance audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to tax regulations

• Prepare and review annual income tax provisions

• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP S/4HANA to perform tax-related tasks efficiently

• Oversee the preparation of corporate income tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws

• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for tax reporting

• Provide expert guidance on tax-related questions and issues

• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations and implement changes in company procedures as necessary

• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies

• Ensure the accurate and timely filing of tax returns

• Handle confidential information in a professional and discreet manner. Requirements • Proficient in using CCH ProSystem Fx

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using QuickBooks and SAP S/4HANA

• Ability to prepare Annual Income Tax Provision

• Expertise in handling Annual Tax and Annual Tax Provision

• Familiarity with Compliance Audit processes

• Experience in handling Corporate Income Tax

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
