Aerotek is currently hiring an experienced maintenance technician who has experience in maintaining and repairing CNC machinery!

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the production equipment at a construction mobile home fabricator in Morewood (30 minutes south of Ottawa towards Winchester/Cornwall and 10 mins from Russell).

• The ideal candidate would have worked in a similar manufacturing/production environment, performing preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, i.e. on grinders, lathes, mills, and specifically conveyor belts.

• You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience performing preventative maintenance and repair on CNC machines

• Specific experience maintaining lathes, grinders, polishers and mechanical conveyor belts

• Mechanical and electrical repair experience.

• Ability to work independently.

• Reliable transportation.

Work Environment

• Location: Morewood (10 mins from Russell, 30 mins from Ottawa)

• Production facility with most of the work done on the floor on the equipment.

• No confined spaces, but the role requires frequent bending and moving. Coveralls will be provided.

• Work schedule is Monday-Friday, day shift.

• Over-time as required.
