Position Description

• The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for completing all shipping/receiving transactions and manage the receiving process for the Rushville, Indiana location.

Essential Job Functions

• · Responsible for completing all shipping/receiving transactions and reporting in a timely and efficient manner.·Efficient problem solving when shipping/receiving issues arise.·Manage inventory of all shipping supplies as well as coordination with vendors.·Responsible for working with external customers and vendors as it relates to customer service inquiries.·Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements.·Manage scrap recycling process including managing relationship with recycling center and maintaining record keeping.·Effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone. ·Assist Supervisor/Manager on special customer requests, and investigation of customer service inquiries to ensure they are properly handled and resolved.·Leverage and utilize the system and tools created for Shipping/Receiving·Supports the Quality Management Systems (QMS) by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives.·Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement.·Identifies any PO issues and works with team on corrective actions. ·Manages bin locations including optimization·Responsible for identifying and notifying material planners of when to reorder visually managed items in the stockroom.·Manages process of transferring material back and forth between the plant and offsite warehouse.·Maintain safety standards.·Other duties, as assigned.·Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Education, Experience & Skills

• High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) with relevant work experience preferred.

• In lieu of a diploma or equivalent, must have at least 4 years relevant work experience.

• Required to work overtime when needed.

• Oracle experience preferred.

• Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (ex. Outlook, Excel).
