We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented
Price and Bid Project Designerto join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, specifically with CAD drawing experience, and a passion for creating high-end custom cabinetry.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Layout:Create detailed design layouts and specifications for custom cabinetry projects based on client requirements and design preferences.
- Pricing and Bidding:Develop accurate pricing estimates and bid proposals for projects, considering materials, labor, and project complexity.
- CAD Proficiency:Demonstrate expertise in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) to create precise and visually appealing drawings.
- Project Management:Collaborate with project managers, production teams, and clients to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
- Problem-Solving:Identify and resolve design challenges and issues to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in design, architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in CAD drawing and design software.
- Strong understanding of cabinetry design principles and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the custom cabinetry industry.
- Knowledge of industry-standard materials and finishes.
- Experience with project management software.
