About the role

  • The Industrial Function is a transversal function of the Solvay Group. Our mission is to support the GBUs in their industrial activities in the domain of industrial electricity.

  • We help them to design, build and operate their plants in an efficient and safe mode.

  • We support them in the research of Excellence, in the management of the Industrial Family and take care of their level of skills.

  • The Industrial Function recruits for the Electricity & Instrumentation department within the Group Engineering & Construction Direction, an Electrical Installations Specialist.

  • The electrical installations cover all equipment related to electricity production and distribution from the HV connections (TSO) to the LV consumers.

  • Electrical Installations are key for the high level of safety and reliability requested from production sites. Safe, sustainable and low footprint solutions are mandatory for us.

  • The Electrical Installations Specialist will:

  • Ensure that installations are in line with needs and safety standards

  • Design & validate new or existing grids (long term & project approach)

  • Provide up to date standards, specifications, procedures and guidelines

  • Ensure technical expertise into Capex procurement activities

  • Participate in erection , supervision , commissioning & start-up activities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting assistance to operational teams of the sites

  • Prospecting new products and technologies

  • Participate and animate into Solvay electrical community and promote best practices

  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

  • Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, ideally with a specialisation in power systems

  • 5 years of experience in engineering / maintenance & operation on industrial electrical network(s)

  • Fluent English

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Bulgaria) base pay reasonably expected for this role is BGN 76,000.00 to 116,000.00, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
