Position Overview:

Responsible for analyzing the electronic health record for quantitative and qualitative completion. Responsible for establishing, coordinating and maintaining the integrity of physician deficiency, notification and suspension system. Assists in coordinating and performing a variety of other Health Information Management (HIM) functions, including maintenance of chart deficiency work queues. Provides support in a wide-range of Health Information departments which includes providing specific duties unique to that department.

ONSITE FULL-TIME DAY SHIFTS: Monday-Friday / Weekends As Needed

EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of Medical terminology, chart analysis, medical record tracking, abstracting.

  • Verbal communication and telephone skills.

  • Ability to deal effectively with detailed confidential information.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications experience.

  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and medical record documentation.

  • Development of good working relationships with physicians, clinical ancillary departments, department coworkers, and other health care professionals.

  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records system applications.

Pay Range is $23.24 to $30.22 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
