Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for rebuilding valves for tanks that will be filled with chlorine. You will also be tasked with operating equipment to pressurize the valves onto the tanks, filling the tanks with chlorine, and preparing them for shipment. This role primarily involves manual labor with occasional use of a sit-down forklift.

PAY: $21

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild valves for chlorine tanks.

  • Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.

  • Fill tanks with chlorine, bag, and tag them.

  • Clean and prep tanks, removing old labels.

  • Perform general labor tasks.

  • Use a sit-down forklift to move products and load/unload trucks as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of experience working in a production environment, GMP regulated preferred.

  • 1+ year of forklift experience preferred.

  • Ability to read a tape measure.

  • Must be able to follow instructions and take orders.

  • Must be safety-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with staging, bagging, tagging, chemical handling, labeling, shipping, and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is a chemical setting that may smell of ammonia or chlorine. It is a dirty environment but clean for the type of work performed. Employees will be provided with protective wear, face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits when handling chemicals. The core hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:00pm, with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemount, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.12 - $25.00/hr.
