UOP is seeking an ambitious Program Lead, that will be in a visible position interacting directly with peers and leaders with a capability to multitask, solve problems and the motivation to forge a career within UOP. As a Program Lead you will be joining a team of program professionals to leading projects within one of Honeywell's businesses. You will implement program plans, budgets, schedules and execute a programmatic MOS, support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. Additionally, you will play an important role in the IPDS process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. The Program Lead will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. You will also be working under moderate supervision of the Sr. Program Manager to execute within scope, on-schedule, and meeting cost targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the activities of a project team throughout the life cycle of a project from start to close-out phases

  • Develop, implement, and monitor project execution plan, including schedule, cost, and staffing requirements

  • Review performance data (financial, budget, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels

  • Maintain positive relationship with customers

  • Manage and coordinate meetings with Clients

  • Lead a team of multi-disciplined engineers, subcontractors and service providers by providing clarity to scope of work and driving ownership at all levels to ensure implementation and delivery of all contractual requirements

  • Track and control costs within budget while continuously looking for margin expansion opportunities

  • Maintain accountability of team members for conformance and accuracy for their scope of work

  • Implement meetings with teams and vendors to drive schedule and oversight

  • Issue internal and external management reports as required

  • Manage change orders, document reviews, punch list resolutions, and project close out

  • Coordinate project activities w/in SAP working closely with Project Controls and Finance

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of Project Management or equivalent experience

  • Bachelors degree

    WE VALUE

  • Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil or Chemical preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities including ability to manage complex, multi-dimensioned customer interactions

  • Experience in petroleum refining, petrochemical and/or gas processing industries preferred

  • Exceeding internal and external customer expectation and comprehensive problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation

  • Effective organizational skills and experience preferably in an international, multi-site and multicultural business environment

  • Detailed experience with process engineering, planning, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and customer & change order management on refining, petrochemical or gas processing

  • Ability to influence and energize others as well improving performance, meeting commitments, and getting results

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience using SAP

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), Microsoft Project
