Description
We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare team based in Rosemont, Illinois. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, where you will be part of a team of developers and data scientists under the BI/AI Team lead. A significant part of the job will involve working on the clinical registry side, interacting with business stakeholders, and making necessary modifications to BI dashboards and visualizations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and modify Business Intelligence Dashboards and visualizations to meet business needs.
• Collaborate closely with a team of developers and a data scientist on a daily basis.
• Utilize Power BI, Azure environments, and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Work with Azure Analysis Services and report through Azure DevOps.
• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Handle customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts for necessary action.
• Apply Microsoft Office Apps, particularly Excel, in managing and analyzing data.
• Maintain and respect the privacy of PHI (Protected Health Information).
• Use Microsoft Fabric and Python language, if available, to enhance BI operations.
Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and related technologies.
• Proficiency in interacting with business users, understanding their needs and translating them into BI solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Power BI and other similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, is necessary.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Structured Query Language are required.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Fabric is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence or related technologies would be advantageous.
• Prior experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry would be a strong plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
