Responsibilities
Ensures that the organization is ready to adopt and implement new business initiatives, technologies, or processes as a part of Work Management efforts
Facilitate collaboration and coordination among team members, departments, and external stakeholders involved in the work process; schedule and conduct meetings, communicate project updates, and ensure that everyone is informed about their responsibilities and deliverables
Monitor and evaluate progress against targets, identifying areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments; ensure organizational alignment of initiatives and foster environments to assist in the cooperation and collaboration of teams and departments
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess work performance and productivity; collect and analyze data on work progress, resource utilization, and project outcomes
Prepare reports, dashboards, or presentations to provide insights and updates on work performance to stakeholders and management
Evaluate work processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization; streamline processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity; may leverage automation tools or workflow management systems to streamline and automate repetitive tasks
Anticipate and manage changes that impact work activities; assess the impact of changes, communicate updates to stakeholders, and revise work plans or priorities accordingly; work closely with change management teams to ensure that work processes and resources are aligned with organizational changes or strategic initiatives
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback, gathering lessons learned, and implementing process enhancements
Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members; identify opportunities for skill development or training, and facilitate continuous learning to enhance work performance and productivity
Manage and mentor implementation teams; provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development; monitor and evaluate the performance of projects and team members, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity
Minimum Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Power Utility work experience
Experience working with computerized maintenance management system
Experience developing business processes or continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
