Shipping & Receiving Specialist

1st Shift | Roselle, IL | $20+

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience and is familiar with WMS and Inventory Management Systems. Responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping and receiving processes. This position is contract-to-hire and the typical shift will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using various material handling equipment such as forklifts.

• Inspect product for any damages before shipping out.

• Unbox and verify contents against packaging slips and enter information into ERP system.

• Tag, stage, and/or put away materials based on system information.

• Perform cycle counts and keep updated records.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years experience in shipping and receiving.

• Forklift operation

• Warehouse management & Inventory control

• UPS, FedEx, Excel

Shift & Pay

• 1st shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

• Pay: $20 - $25 / hr

Work Environment

The company's business division provides comprehensive support for specialty water treatment programs across various markets and applications. The work environment features a very clean, well-lit, and well-spaced workshop floor, with a separate panel building and mechanical assembly side. They recently expanded their facility by 10,000 sq ft to accommodate growth.
