Answer all phone calls and function as a receptionist answering the door when necessary while keeping a pleasant attitude,Schedule hours for caregivers as dictated by clients needs, as well as document requests for time-off,Responsible for providing a complete application packet when requested, checking application for completeness and accuracy (especially I-9 documentation), Assist with E-verify for I-9s, Keep track of all caregivers scheduled for training and notify care coordinator of the roster,enter all caregiver information into proprietary scheduling system,Assign telephony IDs and create ID badges,Maintain and keep safe any and all personal information or Protected Health Information (PHI) and share information with only those who need to know in order to protect the rights of clients and caregivers underHealth Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996(HIPPA), Must remain calm in crisis situations, act professionally and have the ability to handle stressful situations, Provide crisis intervention for clients/caregivers as needed and notify the office manager so (s)he may follow-up, Document any accidents or incidents involving caregivers and notify the Office Manager, Reconcile hours worked and billed by claiming telephony punches,Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI),Completion of appropriate records documenting services provided,Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Friends Over Fifty Senior Care, Inc. Policies and Procedures,Responsible for a neat and orderly work station and your own filling, assist with others filling, Mail billing, Keep files updated and locked when not in active use,Keep track of supplies needed for the office, take responsibility for the scheduling phone on alternate weeks,Time spent in the Friends Over Fifty Senior Care, Inc. Office and/or field depend on the needs of clients and work that needs to be completed. In any given week, the Scheduler III duties may alternate between Scheduling and Caregiver duties as determined by Friends Over Fifty Senior Care, Inc. needs.
