Paper Operations Maintenance Coordinator
Pay Rate:
$98,000-$134,200
Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.
Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short –term incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:
The OMC is responsible for coordination of the operations and maintenance functions within the department to maximize the budgets and the reliability of equipment. The OMC will accomplish results by driving reliability best practices into the daily operation of the business in the Paper areas. The OMC, Paper reports to the Business Unit Manager, Paper. Responsibilities include:
Maintains budgeted production requirements at planned quality and lowest possible cost.
Works with maintenance staff to determine ways to assure and improve the reliability of equipment and systems.
Assure safety awareness, safe work and compliance with safety rules and policies in all work performed by Crew.
Provides assistance and technical advice necessary to assist in the operations process.
Leadership, including workforce engagement, diversity, employee development and labor relations.
Communicate mill and department performance levels and standards to Operators.
Responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with Plant Rules, SOPs and Corporate Policies and Requirements.
Keep current documentation on allowable environmental permit limits and assure compliance with all rules, regulations and laws.
Schedule, coordinate, and lead field days and outages involving operations, maintenance, contractors, engineering, etc.
The Skills You Will Bring:
High school degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience. Pulp/paper experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience.
