Job Title: Repair Test Technician- Morning Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Repair Test Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic devices. You will be responsible for documenting customer returns, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs.

This is a full-time position on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday -Friday

Pay: Starting pay ranges from $18.00-$24.00 per hour (based off relating experience & interview)

Responsibilities

• Intake and document customer returns by verifying the correct device was returned.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of the device's hardware using diagrams and a digital multimeter.

• Swap out various pieces of the device with known good pieces to determine the root cause of issues.

• Disassemble and reassemble customer devices.

• Perform soldering to rework/repair boards.

• Conduct final testing using in-house testing software.

• Update documentation in the ticketing system, including relevant device and customer information, diagnosis of issues, and resolution of issues.

Essential Skills

• Experience with fine pitch soldering.

• 2-3 years of experience in repair, electro-mechanical work, and electrical assembly.

• 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and using a multimeter.

• 2-3 years of general computer knowledge.

• 2-3 years of mechanical knowledge, including diagnostic testing and assembly.

• Attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
