As a Youth Specialist, you'll provide personalized services, instruction, and support to foster youth, tailoring your approach to each individual's unique needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include assisting with educational and vocational planning, developing independent living skills, facilitating social connections, and promoting overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive services and support to foster youth
Facilitate instructional activities and skill development
Assist with educational, vocational, and independent living goals
Collaborate with support teams to create individualized plans
Identify and address obstacles to achieving self-sufficiency
Develop strategies and curriculum to promote skill acquisition
Connect youth with community resources and mentorship opportunities
Advocate for youth within their support networks
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
Associate's or bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred
Experience in foster care, education, employment services, case management, social services, or related field preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect
Completion of New Hire Orientation and Relias Learning training
Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Valid driver's license and auto insurance
