Rolette Community Care Center MDS Coordinator in Rolette, North Dakota
POSITION
SUMMARY:
The MDS Coordinator is responsible for assuring the function of
the interdisciplinary team.
The
position
is
responsible
for assuring
completion of
each
resident's MDS and Care Plan.
This includes assessment of
the resident's health care needs and communication and implementation of
the plan of
care to direct care staff.

QUALIFICATION
STA
NDARDS:
Education:
Graduate of
an accredited school of
nursing.
Certificate/Licenses:
Holds
a
current RN license in
the State
of
North
Dakota
Work Experience:
1.
Two
(2)
years of
experience
in
nursing
with
one
(1)
year
being
in
long-term
care.
2.
Has
had
one (
1) year
of
successful nursing supervisory
experience
or
has
completed a course in management principals.
Freedom from
illegal use of
drugs,
and freedom from
use
and effects of
use of
drugs and alcohol
in the workplace.
Persons who have been found guilty by a court of
law of
abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a
health
care
related
setting
are ineligible for employment in this position.
PERFORMANCE
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of
geriatric, restorative, and general chronic care
nursing principles and
professional standards
of
nursing
practice
and
has
the
ability
to
apply
them
to resident specific circumstances.

RAPS,
and the
federally required time lines.
