Job Description

One of our customers is looking for a highly experienced and tenured field service technician. On the day to day, this individual will travel to customer sites for preventative care, troubleshooting, repair, new installations, and emergency services. The client specializes in designing, manufacturing, inspecting, and selling commercial X-ray, CT scanners and programmable controllers (PCs and PLCs) to clients that include but are not limited to aerospace clients, DOD, Department of energy, and medical device customers. This individual needs experience building and installing complete systems and assisting manufacturing with system integrations. Further they will also need to train the customers in basic operation and maintenance If needed.

Skills and Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of experience of field service technician experience

Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics *Specifically Commercial X-ray and CT scanners

- Ability to interpret schematic and electrical diagram

- Come from the non-destructing testing (NDT) industry, where they have serviced complete systems.

- Strong experience in using electronic test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

- Have experience with Micro and Mini tube focused configurations (tube can be anywhere from 130-145KV)

- Experience with CNC machines and different axes of motion

- Open to travel extensively. Travel is 75-80% of their role, need to be open to travelling within the state they reside as well as the rare occasions where flight travel may be required.

- Strong customer service and communication skills. - Associates degree preferred null
