Sales Planning and Analytics Manager – Sam’s Club

As the Sales Planning and Analytics Manager, you will work with the Vice President and National Account Executives (NAE) on Sam’s Club across the entire KDP Portfolio with the goal of delivering on our annual plan targets on Net Revenue and Profit growth. This individual must be an agile learner and display an ability to work within a fast-paced, growth-focused team environment.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

This role will be based in the Rogers, AR office with attendance required at some customer HQ calls with minimal travel.

JOB SIZE AND SCOPE

  • Analytical and Planning Support on a +$600 Million Portfolio

  • KDP Personnel Supported: Vice President, 3 NAE’s, 5 Supply Chain Managers/Analysts, 4 Commercial Managers, 2 Revenue Growth Managers

  • Sam’s Club Categories Supported: 10 Categories and Merchants

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, maintain and communicate all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the sales team

  • Leverage reporting architecture skills to enhance and/or build new reporting systems

  • Administer and communicate promotional event tracking, long term opportunities and new item status recaps, utilizing IRI and Walmart Retail Link/MADRID

  • Build recommendations for Assortment opportunities and Promotional strategies

  • Maintain JBP templates and presentations

  • Assist with Weekly and Monthly buyer presentations and program tracking

  • Lead the analytical organization and roll-up for internal Quarterly Business Reviews and Customer Joint Business Planning

  • Forecasting and volume projections for over 50 items annually as part of Commercial process

  • Lead and analyze Sam’s Club Supply Chain reporting to optimize in-stocks and product flow

  • Create Trade and Financial Reporting Hub to better understand ROI of $20M to $25M of Trade and Omni Spending

  • Work closely with Account Management team on ad-hoc project work

  • Work closely with Account Management team to prepare for Trade Review Board reviews
