Operations Coordinator

The IT Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the IT department. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams. IT experience is a plus but can also be developed on the job.

What will you do:

  • Coordinate and manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Acts as a liaison between IT and the business units.
  • Monitors and manages product licenses and software subscriptions
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
  • Gathers report requirements and facilitates their implementation for reports and visual dashboards.
  • Documents various workflows throughout the organization and develops a project plan to modernize the approaches.
  • Creates visuals using various project management tools to help communicate, prioritize, and schedule product deliveries.
  • Uses organization approved applications to illustrate workflows within the organization.
  • Works with IT and other business units to track the status of projects.
  • Participates in all aspects of our Agile development processes.
  • Assist with the management of our change management processes.
  • Adheres to established development standards and protocols.

When and where you will work

  • Must be able to work from UWC offices in Rocky Hill, CT one day per week.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 mission-critical environment. May be required to occasionally work outside regularly scheduled hours and must adhere to specified emergency response times.

The Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary:$56,000
  • An outright 8% 401(k) contribution.
