Insight Global Technical Program Manager in Rockville, Maryland

Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to support an HHS program. In this role you will manage a large and complex program with multiple technical teams spanning a wide range of IT support and technologies.

Responsibilities Include:

 Provide leadership in overseeing comprehensive technology and service delivery

 Provide strategic planning, operational planning, and service portfolio development and implementation to service delivery technical managers

 Provide oversight of all technical and operational aspects of the program

 Develop and lead cross-functional teams, including promoting team cohesion and collaboration

 Inject enterprise innovation through strategic thinking around technology and operations

 Develop and maintain strong client relationships (trusted advisor) with transparent communications

 Ensure program performance to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives

 Serve as a people manager in coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising direct reports

Based on experience and qualifications, this position will pay between $110-120/hour with a conversion salary of $200,000-230,000.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors and 10+ years of related experience

 8+ years of experience managing large IT Operations and Maintenance contracts

 Proficiency in multiple technical disciplines, including DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud services, IT infrastructure, cyber security, networking, data management, storage, and XaaS

 Experience managing programmatic risks for large service delivery and infrastructure projects including, dependencies, and issues to ensure timely resolution

 Experience managing technical projects, using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies

 Experience working in a metrics-driven environment (e.g., SLA, OLA)

 Experience developing and delivering complex IT services across a diverse portfolio (e.g., cybersecurity, networking, cloud, engineering, scientific computing)

 Experience developing solutions in a regulated federal environment (e.g., FISMA, FedRamp) and compliance requirements (e.g., EPLC)

 Knowledge of IT best practices and standards

 Must be able to obtain an HHS agency Public Trust

Must be able to be onsite in Rockville, MD 1 day/week (or as needed) Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Lean IT, PMP, Scrum Master)

 Ability to communicate complex technical topics and concepts to executive leadership and technical staff

 Experience building teams and managing client expectations

 Experience building consensus and uniting teams across complex technical environments null
