Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and maintain design requirements 2-dimensional drawings and 3-dimensional models according to standard practices, industrial standards, and engineering markups. Candidate will support existing staff providing artifacts for distribution and support the lead drafter reviewing the work of junior drafters/modelers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Detailed understanding of engineering drawings

• Experience with current and former drafting standards

• Experience in design and drafting of mechanical and electrical products with Microstation

• Experience in design and drafting of mechanical products with PTC Creo 3.0

• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

• Ability to work as a team member

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Experienced in troubleshooting issues with Microstation

• Experience with working in DoD environment

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61820 - $105050

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
