Our client is very respected law firm specializing in landlord-tenant law, committed to providing top-notch legal services to both landlords and tenants. Our team values collaboration, integrity, and a client-centric approach. We are currently seeking attorneys with 1 to 15 years of experience in landlord-tenant law to join our growing practice.

Role: Associate Attorney

Location: Rockville Centre, NY (Long Island)

Schedule: Hybrid

Salary: $100K-$250K (Wide range DOE) (1 years experience at 100, 10-15 years at 250)

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to clients on landlord-tenant issues, including lease agreements, evictions, and tenant rights.

• Go to housing court 4 to 5 times a week every morning at 9:30am in 1 of the 5 boroughs.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.

• Draft and review legal documents, including leases, eviction notices, and settlement agreements.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• Assist in educating clients about their rights and responsibilities under landlord-tenant law.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Experience as an admitted attorney is required, no landlord tenant experience is required, but landlord-tenant experience is PREFFERED

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Active state bar license in New York.

• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to client service.
